SMA, Sharjah Museum Authority has welcomed the Sharjah Executive Council's, decide to release the elderly and the people of the Determination (people with disabilities) from admission fees at the emirate's museum.
Director general of SMA. Manal Ataya, supported Sharjah Executive Council decideDOTin the UAE, the Arab world and Islamic culture, which befalls in line with the authority's aim to increase society members' ability to access Sharjah museum and collection, in order to introduce them to the history of the UAE.
Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, she calculated that this move shows the concept of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, which tries to make the emirate a friendly situation for senior citizens and the elderly.
In extension, SMA had originated its' Autism Friendly Museum' performance last October. The first-of-its-kind energy in the GCC region was carefully designed to provide to the needs of autistic children aged between 7 and 12 years old.
The government had also submitted dedicated tours for individuals with catching impairment.
